Christmas Lights 2002

Because we had a lot of snow in late November and early December 2002 I could not safely get my big ladder near the house. For the first time in three years I was unable to put up lights across the roof and on the second story windows.	So instead I tried something different. I wrapped the two thin trees near the street to look like candy canes. I alternated strings of clear lights and red lights.
Candy cane trees were an interesting idea, but they just didn't look as good as I thought they would. I left them up, but this was the first and last year for candy cane trees.	Merry Christmas 2002
